I love to eat the wild mushrooms, how do I know which ones are safe to eat? (Please, no sarcastic comments)?
I have many growing in the yard this year and I like them in stir fry's. Which ones are not safe to eat,how can I tell?

i agree, get a good book. also learn to do the spores on paper trick. many mushrooms look the same but their spores are different colors. knowing which ones are good to eat is crucial.
see if your local extension center has any classes regarding wild mushrooms. having someone knowledgeable with you on your first couple trips is invaluable.
if you can't identify it, don't eat it.
