Viper Alarm installation other than Best Buy?
Are there any reputable places to install car alarms? I want the $309.99 system (2 way alarm/remote start) offered at Best Buy, since Circuit City is dead, there really is no competition out there. I went to the directed electronics website (the maker of Viper) and all the "authorized retailers" are small, independent shops who charge double the price! I don't have a problem with Best Buy, I just want to know if I have any other choice that is cheaper yet reliable (not Craig's List or anything like that). We are in Baltimore, MD.
um the small independent shops.....but u can shop around.....doesn't have to b a stereo shop .....some mechanics and even car dealerships will install them.....
also just a thought since ur insurance company will reduce ur deductible for having an alarm....u can give them a call and see if they have a recommendation.......its a long shot but i have heard of companies having a partnership with installer that gives u a lower rate and i have even hear in a few rare cases were insurance company paid part of the install fee...up to half.....good luck
