What should I do about this issue car?
Ok, so we have a 2000 Mazda Protege is a piece of shit mega. Which sucks because I'm stupid when I bought it, I was rushed and ended up getting scammed, and brought a sucky car in our beautiful wedding. Thus, the car works, but it has all kinds of cosmetic issues ect ... Similarly, when we took it to get inspected the check engine light was on so it was not adopted. They told us to do this thing where you get up to speed, hurry and drop it so on and so on and light off (long enough to pass inspection anyway). Anyway, this did not work. So we're stuck with this car thats not registered, without insurance and we have about 3k on it, and it would sell not anywhere near that price. We did not drive the car as well, that would be stupid. But my husband is so stubborn and said he goes stupid to fix the car then what it is worth. So what should we do? It makes no sense to have a car which is just down the aisle where we need it all the time but can not use it.
take the loss and trade it. but make sure you do not get ripped off this time. get a Honda or facility is located. thats the way forward .. cheap, reliable and stylish. they problably give you about 1500 if you're lucky .. and Just add 1500 (or what remains of your Mazda) and added to any amount you are financing. hope this helps ... and tell your husband that you both are losing money by leaving the car sitting there .. and if he argues, then just tell him to fix and drive the Mazda and you take his car ... for "women" security
