If you have an AWD vehicle, can you have different size widths (not height) on the front and rear? ?
I bought rims not realizing that the rear rims were 1 inch wider for a RWD vehicle. I know you aren't supposed to do this on an AWD, but I don't see the problem if the tires are the same height and getting the same numbers of rotations.
Yes, you can. The trick is finding a tire that has the same overall diameter but different width. To add insult to injury tires of a certain spec can vary in size between manufactures. So while it is possible you might be better off looking for 2 more rims that are the same size as two of the rims you just bought.
