Weather and terrain style of Aurora, Colorado?
i mean what is it like are there a lot of mountains? are there lots of forrests...i am going to Aurora, Colorado on Saturday and i was wondering what the weather is like and what the terrain is like. Thank you! 
Aurora, Colorado has an elevation of 5,471 feet. Summer hi temps are 90F in July with July Lows of 55F. Winter hi temps in Jan. are Highs of 45F 7 lows of 16F. Hot summers and cold winters. The highest ever recorded temperature in Aurora is 108F and the Lowest ever recorded temp. is -32F in 1963. Aurora has a continental type climate with extreme fluctuations from season to season. Aurora is on the outskirts of the city of Denver. Tornado activity is 98% greater than is the USA average, This area is alos subject to a lot of smaller Earthquakes that are usually in the 3.0 range. Aurora has on avg. 246 sunny days and the avg. snowfall is 63 inches.
There are plenty of mountains to the West. These are the Rocky Mtns. about an hour drive away.
Colrado has 680 mtn. peaks higher than 13,000 feet. Perfect for the true outdoorsman.
