are 1996 firebird trans am cars reliable for winter?

I live in Nova Scotia and our winters here can be dreadful. I know this is a sports car, therefore they weren't made for winter terrain. I was just wondering if they're still pretty decent, without the sports car title.

Even with Rally Spiked Snow Tires used in professional racing, it is very slippery in a RWD car.

Any RWD car is like that. It does not have to be a sports car. EVen RWD SUV's would have no chance.
