My car was sideswiped by a white car. How do I get rid of scratches?
There are some where he cut deeper through painting. There are white areas that look like I want to get misty. Some of them wiped. My car is black. Is there a finish car that I could use? I do not want to go to a body shop. Thank you!
If you have scratched through the paint you will need to cover bare metal. You can take a very fine sandpaper, sand the areas and then use a painting as Dupli-color spray for the area. If you are not courageous, you can try polishing compound and then apply a coat of wax. Bottom line you need to paint to bare metal.
